WHERE TO LOCATE A TMV

A separate TMV should be located within 2 metres of the outlet, which in practice means that they can be concealed beneath a bath or behind a basin. There are some TMVs that have the ability to control the temperature for a whole bath or washroom. When choosing a position, thought should be given to future access for servicing. The best TMVs have a cartridge construction which allows easy repair/maintenance.
