TESTING

TMV2 thermostatic mixing valves must be tested once a year to check their performance has not changed from the time of installation and to make sure the failsafe shut-off function is working. Isolating valves should be installed on the hot and cold supplies leading up to the valve which should be fitted in such a way that testing and, if required servicing, can be carried out without major renovation works. Inta TMVs are all based on a cartridge construction, to make maintenance simple.
